110’ WPB CRADLE AND SPREADER BAR RECERTIFICATION

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide services for the recertification of one docking cradle and one spreader bar for the 110-foot USCG Cutter.

• Certify one docking cradle (110-foot USCG Cutter Cradle No. 3 (CGY-C110-3))

• Certify one spreader bar (Spreader Bar No. 1 (CGY-S110-1))

• Slings are not part of this certification.

• Certification must meet requirements in SFLC Std Spec 8634.

• The cradle has been previously load tested; re-load testing is not required.

• Period: May 1, 2026, to May 31, 2026

• Location: USCG Yard, Baltimore MD 21226

• A Certification Report including:

  • Appendix B-2 (of SFLC STD Spec 8634), signed and sealed by a Professional Engineer (State of Maryland)
  • Appendix B-23 and Appendix B-24 of SFLC STD Spec 8634, completed
  • Inspection Overview
  • Inspection Findings with supporting documentation
  • Surveyor’s Endorsement (“SATISFACTORY” or “UNSATISFACTORY”), with any contingencies noted.

• Contractor to provide requirements for weld inspection type and length for certification.

• References include specific USCG drawings and SFLC Standard Specification 8634.

• Post-award access to previous certification reports, docking history, NDI reports, and last completed load test may be available upon request.
