Justification & Acquisition
NAVSUP WSS intends to sole source to MCMASTER-CARR SUPPLY CO. (CAGE: 0KVE6) as they are identified as the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only known source for SPARE support, with the Government not owning the necessary data rights. The acquisition will follow FAR Part 15 procedures. Buy American Clauses and UID requirements will apply.
Response Information
This notice is not a request for competitive proposals, but all proposals/capability statements received within 45 days of publication (by June 16, 2026) will be considered to determine if a competitive procurement is feasible. Interested parties may also identify their interest and capability to satisfy the requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Firms not currently approved to manufacture this material must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR), but the procurement will not be delayed for SAR approval.
