Evaluation & Source Approval
Only sources previously approved by the Government for this item have been solicited. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. New sources must submit detailed information as outlined in the NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Source Approval Information Brochures (Spares and Repair versions available on the NAVSUP WSS Business Opportunities page). Offers failing to provide required source approval data will not be considered. The time required for new source approval may preclude award if it delays meeting Government requirements.
Additional Notes
This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. Responses received within 45 days (or 30 days if under an existing BOA) after publication will be considered. A determination not to compete is solely at the Government's discretion. Market research indicates the Government is not using FAR Part 12 for commercial items, but interested persons may identify commercial item capabilities within 15 days of this notice. This acquisition may be subject to Free Trade Agreements and/or World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement if relevant DFARS clauses are included in the solicitation.
