Quality Assurance & Requirements

The contractor is responsible for all inspection requirements. The inspection/quality system must be acceptable to the Government, in accordance with MIL-I-45208, or ISO 9001/9002 certified. Records of inspection work must be maintained for 365 days post-delivery. Packaging must adhere to MIL-STD 2073.

Additional Notes

This requirement is under Emergency Acquisition Flexibilities. Award will be issued bilaterally, requiring contractor acceptance. Contractual documents are considered "issued" upon electronic transmission. Offerors must provide facility details if packaging occurs at a different location. The resultant contract will be DO certified under the Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS). Access to drawings, if included, must be requested via SAM.gov and email to the POC. Consideration for award will only be given to authorized distributors of the original manufacturer's item; proof must be provided with the offer. Government-owned tooling is involved, with specific tools at Atlantic Castings requested for assignment to OTS to support current contract requirements.
