Scope of Work
The government is seeking RO/RO vessels capable of carrying a minimum of 325,000 square feet of military cargo, including helicopters, tracked and wheeled vehicles, and breakbulk. The delivery port is Charleston, South Carolina, USA. Two scenarios are being considered:
- Scenario One: Approximately 40-day charter, with redelivery to Subic Bay, Philippines, or Busan, Korea (Charterer's option).
- Scenario Two: Approximately 60-day charter, with redelivery to Melbourne, Australia. Laydays for the charter are between June 30, 2026, and July 30, 2026. The cargo list is currently not available.
Submission Requirements
Interested parties should submit the following information via email:
- Complete vessel name and description, indicating which scenarios can be met.
- Daily charter hire rate and any applicable delivery/redelivery bonuses.
- Fuel consumption rates for both underway and inport working conditions.
- Militarily useful square feet of vessel deck space (defined as cargo capacity with deck height exceeding 7'5" clearance).
- Number of supercargo the vessel can accommodate.
- Business size (and indicate if a small business concern).
- Large businesses should provide details on potential sub-contracting opportunities.
- Any other pertinent questions or comments.
