This document is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or services, specifically for the procurement of Mini-Split Heat Pump Systems. Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To purchase two mini-split style ductless air conditioner/heat pump systems for supplemental temperature adjustment in under-ventilated workspaces. Installation and commissioning will be performed by Government personnel; this contract is for supply only.

• Supply of two (2) dual zone mini-split heat pump systems, pre-charged with refrigerant.
• Each system includes an outdoor compressor/condenser, one indoor air-handling unit, and an installation kit.
• Installation kits must include all necessary equipment, fittings, manifolds, wiring, tubing, thermostats, remote controls, and miscellaneous parts for correct operation.
• Systems must be designed for simple and fast installation.
• A metal wall bracket for the outdoor unit is required.
• Indoor air handling units will be located approximately 50-feet from the outdoor unit, with a height difference not exceeding 10-feet.
• Main power cabling from the building is excluded.

Dual Zone System (Quantity: 1):

• Brand/Model: Mitsubishi FX-Series 23 SEER2 Dual Zone Wall Mounted Mini Split Heat Pump System - R454B | 15 + 15 (Model MXZ-SM36NL / 2-MSZ-FX15NL) or equivalent.
• Cooling Capacity: Max 36,000 BTU/h.
• Heating Capacity: Max 41,000 BTU/h at 47°F, Max 36,000 BTU/h at 17°F, Max 29,000 BTU/h at 5°F, Max 18,600 BTU/h at -13°F.
• Efficiency Ratings: SEER2 23.0, HSPF2 (IV) 11.0.
• Electrical: 208/230 V AC, Single-phase, 60 Hz.
• Features: Variable speed inverter-driven compressor, quiet operation (as low as 49 dB(A)), Seacoast Protection (ASTM B117 rated), outdoor unit base pan heater, comprehensive protections, Hyper-Heating Performance.
• Indoor Unit: Mitsubishi FX-Series Single or Multi Zone Wall Mounted Mini Split Air Handler (MSZ-FX15NL), 15,000 BTU/h cooling, 17,000 BTU/h heating, high-performance filtration, corrosion-resistant coating, Wi-Fi remote thermostat sensor, remote control, auto restart, self-diagnosis.

Single Zone System (Quantity: 1):

• Brand/Model: Mitsubishi GX-Series 19.2 SEER2 Single Wall Mounted Mini Split Heat Pump System - R454B | MUZ-GX30NL / MSZ-GX30NL or equivalent.

• Cooling Capacity: Rated 30,600 BTU/h.

• Heating Capacity: Rated 32,600 BTU/h at 47°F, minimum 9,800 BTU/h at -10°F.

• Efficiency: SEER2 Rating 19.2.

• Electrical: 208-230V, 1 phase, 60Hz, 25A fuse recommended.

• Features: Inverter Technology, Hyper Heating Technology, outdoor unit base pan heater, auto restart, self-diagnosis.

• Indoor Unit: Mitsubishi GX-Series Single or Multi Zone Wall Mounted Mini Split Air Handler (MSZ-GX30NL), 30,000 BTU/h cooling, 34,000 BTU/h heating, high-performance filtration, corrosion-resistant coating, Wi-Fi remote thermostat sensor, remote control, auto restart, self-diagnosis.

• Delivery required within 30 days of award.

• Delivery Location: 11056 West County Road 18E, Loveland, Colorado, 80537.

• Delivery Hours: Monday through Thursday 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, Federal Holidays Excluded.

• Systems must be "off the shelf" and generally available to the public.

• Brand name or equal requirement.

• Deviations from specified characteristics require written permission from the Contracting Officer.

• Technical Submittals required within 15 days of award, including system descriptions, parts lists, specification sheets, drawings, and manufacturer information.

• Final Documentation required upon delivery, including all manufacturer documentation, O&M manuals, maintenance data, drawings, training manuals, and warranty documents.

• Full manufacturer's standard warranty, transferable to the Bureau of Reclamation, is required.

• COR acceptance criteria include undamaged packaging, matching parts list, no visible damage, and complete warranty documentation.

Sources Sought Notice

This notice is issued by the Bureau of Reclamation for planning purposes to conduct market research. The government is seeking information to determine if a requirement for two mini-split style heat pump systems can be procured competitively, potentially as a Small Business Set-Aside. They are interested in understanding the capabilities of businesses across various socioeconomic categories (8(a), SDVOSB, HUBZone, WOSB, etc.). This is NOT a solicitation, and no contract will be awarded based on this notice.

The requirement is for the supply of:

• One dual-zone wall-mounted mini-split style ductless air conditioner/heat pump system.
• One single-zone wall-mounted mini-split style ductless air conditioner/heat pump system.

These must be brand-name-or-equal, off-the-shelf units, pre-charged with refrigerant and including all necessary installation kit components (fittings, manifolds, wiring, tubing, drains, thermostats, remotes, etc.) for proper operation. Installation and commissioning are NOT included and will be performed by Government personnel. The anticipated delivery period is 30 days after award.
