  • Clarifications: Engraving is acceptable for part marking, provided it meets character height and MIL-STD-130 requirements. For aluminum components, "Iridite" and "Alodine" are acceptable trade names for chromate conversion coatings, meeting MIL-DTL-5541 Class 3 (clear, RoHS compliant). STEP files are available, with the sharing process currently being determined.
