Submission & Evaluation
This is a sole-source procurement justified under 10 USC 3204(A)(1) / FAR 6.302-1, as VACCO INDUSTRIES is the only known approved manufacturing source with the necessary technical data. The government does not own the data rights, and reverse engineering is deemed uneconomical.
Offerors must provide the OEM (CAGE code) and part number. Distributors require a manufacturer's authorization letter, and dealers must provide a statement identifying their firm and the OEM's details. Electronic submittal of Receiving Reports and Invoices via PIEE-WAWF is mandatory. Higher Level Inspection is required.
Additional Notes
Amendments have updated clauses, removed certified cost/pricing requirements, and increased the quantity for CLIN 0001. While UNICOR will be considered, the primary focus is on VACCO INDUSTRIES. Vendors interested in providing alternate items must submit a complete technical data package for future consideration, as the current procurement will not be delayed.
