Quick Summary

The Department of the Army's Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Knox is conducting market research (Sources Sought) to identify vendors capable of providing 4BDE Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (JROTC) VMI support. While the U.S. Government initially intends a sole-source award to Virginia Military Institute (VMI) under FAR 12.102(a), this notice seeks to determine if a competitive procurement is feasible. Responses are due April 27, 2026.

Scope of Work

The requirement is for services to support the 4BDE Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (JROTC) VMI. A Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) is attached to the original notice for more details.

Additional Notes

This notice is for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a Request for Quote/Invitation for Bid/Request for Proposal or a promise to issue one. The U.S. Government is not seeking quotes or proposals at this time and will not pay for any costs incurred in response. A determination not to compete is solely at the Contracting Officer's discretion. If a competitive solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Governmentwide Point of Entry.
