Presolicitation Notice – Notice of Intent to Sole Source

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 7, intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract for Construction Period Services (CPS) for the "Upgrade PACS System - CPS Services" project at the Atlanta VAMC. This action is intended to be a sole-source award to FFE – HEAPY JV, LLC, the original designer of record.

The required A-E CPS services include, but are not limited to:

• Construction submittal reviews
• Responses to contractor Requests for Information (RFI’s)
• Execution of design changes and potential design changes
• Attendance at necessary site visits and construction-related meetings

The goal is to ensure the designer of record's design is properly executed, adjusted, and interpreted to deliver a complete and usable facility consistent with the original design intent.
