Scope of Work

The material required is NI-CU-AL Alloy in accordance with QQ-N-286G.
Key Requirements

- Required Reports (CDRLs): Include Certified Mill, Heat Treatment, Mechanical Properties, Manufacturer Screw Operation Sheet, Visual/Dimensional Inspection, NDT Visual/Liquid Penetrant Inspection, NDT Inspector Qualification, and Mercury Exclusion Certifications.
- Government Approvals: Government approval from NSWCPD is required for the Quality Inspection Plan, NDT Visual/Liquid Penetrant Testing Procedure, and the Production Lot Testing/Inspection Report prior to production or shipment. NSWCPD is the acceptance activity for CDRL data items (DODACC N64498).
- Final Inspection: Conducted by the cognizant DCMA-QAR in conjunction with NSWCPD Quality Assurance Specialists.
