Scope of Work
This requirement involves providing, delivering, and spreading rock/gravel to repair a dike trail. Materials include:
- Heavy Rip Rap material: Up to 25 quad axle loads (3" to 5" size).
- Select Clear Stone Gravel: Up to 35 quad axle loads (3" to 5" size).
- Gravel: Up to 10 quad axle loads (3/4" size). All aggregates must meet State of Wisconsin DOT Specifications and be free of debris and organic matter. Services include delivery and tailgate spread or piling, or a combination. Bidders should quote prices for both spread and pile delivery.
Contract & Timeline
- Contract Type: Firm-Fixed-Price.
- Period of Performance: Estimated from March 19, 2026, to April 15, 2026. Work should ideally be completed within a two-week period between late February and early April, outside of migratory bird season. If not, it will be rescheduled for November 2026.

- Unit price, total price, minimum order requirements, price validity period, and product data sheets.
- Number of quad axle loads deliverable per day and estimated lead time.
- Bidders should bid at 25 tons per quad axle or provide a scaled bid for 15, 20, and 25 tons per load.
Evaluation
Quotes will be evaluated on a Best Value basis, considering technical acceptability, competitive delivery lead time, lowest price, and past performance. Offerors must have a current and active SAM.gov registration.
