Quick Summary
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Aviation at Philadelphia, PA is issuing a Presolicitation for an AMPLIFIER-FILTER AS (NSN 7R-5895-017210636-P8). This is a proposed sole-source acquisition under FAR 6.302-1 due to engineering source approval requirements for a flight-critical item. Interested parties must submit capability statements or proposals by June 22, 2026.
Scope of Work
The requirement is for 2 EA of the AMPLIFIER-FILTER AS, with delivery FOB Origin. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity to maintain quality. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing/repair knowledge held by qualified sources necessitate acquisition from approved sources. The approved sources retain data rights or technical data not economically available to the Government, which is essential for quality maintenance.
