Scope of Work
This solicitation covers the design, manufacture, and performance of CABLE ASSEMBLY,SPEC according to drawing 6964587 (cage 53711). Key requirements include:

- Configuration Control: Adherence to MIL-STD-973, Paragraph 5.4.8, for Engineering Change Proposals, Deviations, and Waivers.
- Mercury-Free: Materials must be free from metallic mercury contamination, as intended for submarine/surface ship use. Written approval from the Procurement Contracting Officer is required if mercury is a functional part.
- Quality Assurance: Contractor is responsible for all inspection requirements, maintaining a quality system acceptable to the Government, in accordance with ISO 9001 (or MIL-I-45208). Inspection records must be kept for four years.
