• Compliance with ISO 9001 for quality system requirements, with MIL-I-45208 also permitted.

Key Requirements & Notes

• A Government Security Clearance (DD Form 254) is required.
• To become a qualified manufacturer, contractors must produce and test two each of 5W1, 5W2, 5W7, and 5W8 Cable Assemblies per specification 53711-5894148, REV J.
• The contract will be DO certified for national defense under the Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS).
• Drawings are available on SAM.gov; access must be requested, followed by an email to the POC.
• An option for increased quantity is included, allowing for additional requirements up to 365 days post-award; pricing for this option must be submitted.
• Certificate of Quality Compliance CDRLs and a Certificate of Compliance per DI-MISC-81356 are required, with specific email addresses for submission. A Post Award Conference is recommended, with NUWC Newport participation.
