This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for the manufacture and delivery of one (1) new Caterpillar Model 3516C Diesel Standby Generator Set to the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System. The generator is required to be the same make, model, and specifications as the existing unit to ensure compatibility and meet increased electrical power requirements, preventing load shedding that impacts essential hospital functions.

• Generator Specifications: Caterpillar Model 3516C, 2500kW, 12,000 volt, 60HZ, 0.8pf. Must include IBC Certification, EPA stationary emergency certified engine, SCAQMD Pre-certification, and a 3550-gallon UL142 fuel tank base.

• Components: Outdoor application, weather protective/sound attenuated enclosure (85 dB(A) at 5 ft), steps/platforms, Rypos Active Diesel Particulate Filter, Caterpillar automatic start control panel (EMCP 4.2b), remote annunciator panel, PMG, batteries, battery charger, jacket water heater, vibration spring isolators, and spare filters.

• Warranty: Two-year Standard Caterpillar warranty from date of startup.

• Documentation: Submittals, shop drawings, operation and maintenance manuals, and factory/field test reports (all electronic).

• Services: Delivery supervision, startup assistance by a Caterpillar Certified Technician, field load testing, and one-day on-site training.

• Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price.

• Delivery: 365 days After Receipt of Order (ARO) to VA Loma Linda Healthcare System, 11201 Benton Street, Loma Linda, CA 92357.
