Quick Summary

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), specifically NCO 10 for Cleveland VA Medical Center, is seeking quotes for the purchase of two (2) Arrow VPS Rhythm Navigation Systems for Antimicrobial Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters (PICCs). These systems are crucial for accurate PICC placement in patient care. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation issued as an RFQ. Quotes are due by June 17, 2026, at 4:00 PM ET.

Opportunity Details

The VA Northeast Ohio Healthcare System (VANEOHS) requires two replacement Arrow VPS Rhythm Navigation Systems as their current devices are beyond economical repair. A loaner system is currently in use. These systems are vital for the accurate placement of PICCs, which are essential for long-term intravenous therapy and help prevent complications such as infection, thrombosis, and catheter malposition.

Scope of Work

  • Device Configuration: Unboxing, assembly, mounting onto mobile carts, and configuring device settings according to Cleveland VAMC protocols.
  • Testing & Setup: Performing full functional checks of both systems, including integrated ultrasound and ECG tip confirmation features, in collaboration with the Cleveland VAMC's Biomedical Engineering department. This also includes verification of accessories and calibration checks.
  • Training & Support: Providing comprehensive in-service training for the Nursing IV Therapy team and Biomedical personnel on proper use, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The vendor must also provide contact information for Teleflex technical support and access to educational resources.
