This solicitation is for a firm-fixed-price requirement for Non-Gyn Specimen Processing Lease Consumables to support the Pathology and Laboratory Medicine Service at the VA Texas Valley Coastal Bend Health Care System in Harlingen, Texas. The contract includes the provision and maintenance of a Non-Gyn Specimen Tissue Instrument Processor (if applicable), reagents, and consumables, along with preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and training.

• Provide and maintain one Non-Gyn Specimen Tissue Instrument Processor (if applicable).

• Supply reagents and consumables of high quality.

• Perform annual and required service and/or repairs.

• Provide non-gyn training for two pathologists and one Histopathology Technologist.

• Perform annual equipment check/operation review.

• Provide on-site service during standard business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm CST).

• Respond to emergency service calls within 48 hours.

• Provide a toll-free number for service calls and technical assistance.

• Make all repairs expeditiously.

• Run quality control material after all repairs.

• Provide annual preventive maintenance inspection.

• Maintain service repairs and provide full reports.

• Provide a loaner T2 processor if the primary unit is out of service for more than one business day.

• Ensure compliance with CLIA, College of American Pathology, and Joint Commission standards.

• Comply with applicable regulatory and safety requirements, including FDA clearance, OSHA requirements for hazardous chemicals, and VA information security requirements.
