Scope of Work
The contractor will be responsible for manufacturing containers in accordance with Hardigg drawing number (11214) 16573-0100, latest revision, and all referenced specifications. Key requirements include:

- Finish to be electrodeposited alkaline Zinc-Nickel Alloy (ASTM B 841 Class 1, Type B, Grade 3), replacing Cadmium plating.
- Affixing a nameplate with Unique Identification (UID) marking per drawing (80132) 15930 and MIL-STD-130.
- Contractor is solely responsible for providing all necessary manufacturing aids (fixtures, jigs, dies, etc.).
- Compliance with IPC/EIAJ-STD-001C if MIL-STD-454 is referenced.
Quality Assurance & Testing
A comprehensive quality assurance program is required, centered on First Article Testing (FAT) and 100% production testing.
- FAT: One unit of CAGE (11214) Part Number 16573-0100, Revision latest, must be delivered within 120 calendar days for testing. Tests include dimensional, form, fit, function, and compliance checks. The estimated cost for government FAT is $10,000, which will be added to offerors' prices.
- FAT Waiver: Offerors may request a waiver if they have previously furnished identical production articles accepted by the Government or OEM within three years, using the same production location and processes. Two prices (with and without FAT) should be submitted if a waiver is requested.
- Production Leak Tests: Each container must undergo 100% production leak testing using either Method 5008 (18-inch drop, 0.5 PSIG initial pressure) or Method 5009 (0.25 PSIG initial pressure) of Federal Test Method Standard No. 101C.
- Additional Tests: Includes 18-inch Free Fall Drop Test, Initial/Final Leak Test, and Form and Fit Check.
- Sampling: ANSI/ASQ Z1.4, SAMPLE PLAN S-2 AQL 1.0 (13 PCS) applies, with 100% testing required if one rejection occurs.
