- Six (6) Lightweight Type III 10x12 Hard Armor Plates.
- Shields must be lightweight (max 17 lbs), not tapered, minimum 20"x30", and effective against 180gr 30-06 threats (NIJ Standard 0101.07).
- Armor plate inserts must not exceed 3 lbs and have a 10-year warranty.
- Shields must include a clear ballistic viewport and tactical covers for hard armor plate inserts, integrate with the shield light, and be fully assembled upon delivery.
- Contractor must comply with records management laws and coordinate service with VA Police.
