Special Requirements & Notes

Bidders must be registered in SAM.gov. The contractor must have a minimum of 5 years of experience with 3 million gallon water tanks and employ a Certified Water Operator per Nevada Revised Statutes 445A.875-880 and AWWA requirements. Security and access to Nellis AFB require base pass requests submitted 20-30 workdays in advance, and personnel may undergo criminal history checks. Clarifications indicate tanks must be drained for manual cleaning (AWWA C652), sediment and cleaning solutions must be disposed of off-base per NDEP regulations, and onsite water is not available for washing crews. Contractors must bring their own ladders.
