Scope of Work

The contractor will provide all materials, labor, equipment, travel, and supervision to perform an electrical upgrade at the Administration Building (A3) at USGS CERC in Boone County, Missouri. Key tasks include:

  • Removal of the existing 10 hp, 3-phase, 230v centrifugal pump and manual motor starter.
  • Installation of two (2) redundant inverter-duty centrifugal pumps capable of 120-200 feet of head and 200 gallons per minute flow.
  • Installation of a properly sized VFD with bypass function and BACnet capabilities.
  • Installation of a digital flow meter and digital pressure gauges, both with BACnet capabilities, on the suction and discharge piping.
  • Removal and replacement of current piping to allow for redundancy, including a bypass.
  • Ensuring new pumps are level and easily accessible for maintenance/replacement. All circuits must comply with existing Local and National Electrical Code Standards.

  • Contract Type: Firm-Fixed Price.
  • Period of Performance: 30 calendar days after Notice to Proceed (NTP). The anticipated performance period is June 19, 2026, to August 3, 2026.
