Questions & Answers / Clarifications

• Plumb and Tensioning Work: A vendor inquired if plumb and tensioning of the tower should be included in the quote, as it was mentioned in the Construction Drawings (Pages S-2 and S-3) but not in the SOW. The government clarified that plumb/tensioning is NOT part of this installation solicitation. While it is noted on the Construction Drawings for technical consistency, it is intentionally excluded from this SOW and is being handled by a separate vendor.

This clarification confirms that plumb and tensioning work is out of scope for this particular solicitation. Bidders should not include costs or efforts related to this activity in their quotes.

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To procure services for the installation of antennas and ancillary equipment in support of the Adaptive Central Receive (ACRx) effort for the FBI's Video Surveillance Unit.

• Installation of four (4) Janteq SuperSector antennas on the WTJX Tower in St. Thomas, USVI, at specified heights.

• Installation of four (4) Fiber Tower Boxes, each within 10-15 feet of a SuperSector antenna.

• Installation of four (4) 12-core fiber cables from the equipment room to the Fiber Tower Boxes.

• Installation of four (4) LMR 400 coaxial cables from the equipment room to the SuperSector antennas.

• Installation of one (1) six-foot Cambium dish and two (2) PTP-820 Outdoor Units (ODUs) on the tower.

• Installation of two (2) new LMR 400 coaxial cables for the PTP-820 installation.

• Assistance with aligning the Cambium dish to the El Yunque tower in Puerto Rico.

• Grounding of all antennas and cables to Motorola R56 standards.

• Cable management for external and internal cabling.

• Coordination for site walks, building permits, and work permits.

• Work must adhere to Motorola R56 standards for grounding.

• Installation efforts must be completed by Tuesday COB of any standard work week.
