Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide qualified Registered Nurses (RNs) to deliver inpatient acute care nursing services, ensuring safe, continuous, and high-quality patient care for the Pine Ridge Service Unit (PRSU) of the Indian Health Service (IHS).

• Furnish qualified RNs to provide inpatient acute care nursing services for adult and pediatric patients with acute and chronic conditions typical of a rural healthcare setting.

• Services include patient assessment, monitoring, medication administration, IV therapy, emergency response, care coordination, discharge planning, clinical documentation in the EHR, interdisciplinary care activities, and patient/family education.
