Fit reasons
- NAICS alignment with historical contract wins in similar service areas.
- Scope strongly matches core technical capabilities and delivery model.
Risks
- Past performance thresholds may require one additional teaming partner.
- Potential clarification needed on staffing minimums before bid/no-bid.
Next steps
Validate eligibility requirements, assign capture owner, and schedule partner outreach to confirm teaming strategy before submission planning.
Quick Summary
The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command (DEVCOM) C5ISR Center is conducting market research through a Sources Sought / Request for Information (RFI) for Advanced Uncooled Thermal Integration Efforts. The goal is to identify industry capabilities for integrating next-generation, lens-less, Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) uncooled thermal sensors into systems optimized for low Size, Weight, Power, and Cost (SWaP-C), aiming for Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 6+. Responses are due by April 26, 2026.
Purpose and Scope
This RFI seeks to inform future system-level requirements and prototype development efforts. The DEVCOM C5ISR Center requires system integrators to design appropriate lenses for GFE thermal sensors, demonstrate advanced capabilities, and achieve TRL 6+ in a relevant environment. Proposed systems should prioritize low SWaP-C.
