Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide all necessary labor, aircraft, certified weed-free seed, equipment, supplies, transportation, permits, supervision, and incidentals to perform aerial seeding on approximately 700 acres. Services include:
- Furnishing and handling certified weed-free seed (specific mixture and quality standards apply, including compliance with state noxious weed lists).
- Aerial application of seed at 30 seeds per square foot, ensuring continuous, uniform cover in canyon terrain.
- Establishment, management, and rehabilitation of staging areas.
- Traffic control, safety measures, and required reporting/documentation.
- Compliance with all federal, state, local laws, regulations, and aviation requirements. The project's objective is emergency post-fire seeding to protect Kaibab plains cactus habitat.

- Evaluation Criteria: Award will be made based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) criteria, considering Price, Technical Acceptability, and Past Performance. Only the lowest-priced offer will be evaluated for Technical Acceptability initially.
