Scope of Work
The contractor shall provide comprehensive support and engineering services for the maintenance of the AFAS software system. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing telephone software support (engineering and product technical support) to HQ AFFSA AFAS Program Manager and customers.
- Diagnosing and resolving AFAS software issues, including those related to operating system and security changes.
- Reconfiguring AFAS license files as needed.
- Providing training on AFAS utilization, database management, profile configuration, and data organization.
- Logging and tracking customer service requests (CSRs), providing monthly reports.
- Performing AFAS location site configuration and reconfigurations (e.g., WUG RMM, GNT, workstation names, proxy/DNS/IP addresses), requiring AFAS Program Manager approval.
- Providing engineering services for AFAS as identified by the AFAS Program Manager, including technical interchange meetings, failure remediation, patching, and on-site support.
- Creating AFAS images based on current AF SDC, including adaptations for operational air traffic environments and Windows 11 patches.
Performance standards require responding to customer support requests within two to twelve hours and providing monthly CSR reports within five business days.
