This is a Special Notice regarding the Drug Enforcement Administration's (DEA) intent to award a purchase order on a sole source basis to Powervar, Inc. for UPS Preventive Maintenance. Powervar is identified as the manufacturer and the only authorized source for this maintenance. This notice is not a request for competitive quotations, and a Request for Quotation (RFQ) is not available.

The core requirement is UPS Preventive Maintenance.

• The acquisition will be conducted through FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

• The NAICS code is 335999.

• The requirement is not a total small business set-aside.

• Award will be based on lowest price/technically acceptable.

• Award is ALL or NONE.

• Interested parties who believe they can provide the service and meet the Government's requirements are encouraged to submit a capability statement.

• A written response describing the ability to provide the service is required.
