• Surplus Material: Quotes for surplus/new surplus/new manufactured surplus must include a surplus certificate.
• OEM Information: If not the manufacturer, offerors must state the OEM (CAGE code) and part number.
• Authorized Distributors: Consideration for award will only be given to authorized distributors of the original manufacturer's item. Proof of authorization on company letterhead is required with the quote.
• Quote Validity: Requesting quote validity of 60 days or more.
• Packaging: MIL-STD 2073 packaging applies.

Quality Assurance

• Inspection: Contractor is responsible for all inspection requirements. Suppliers currently using MIL-I-45208 may continue to do so.
• Quality System: The supplier must provide and maintain a quality system acceptable to the Government, in accordance with ISO 9001.
• Records: Inspection records must be kept for 365 calendar days after final delivery.
