Statement of Work (SOW)

To abate asbestos floor tiles and install new approved tiles in Building 1, Rooms 734, 735A, 735B, and 736 at the United States National Poultry Research Center (USNPRC) in Athens, GA.

• Removal of deteriorating sheetrock and paint.

• Painting of walls with epoxy sealant.

• Installation of drip pans under leaking areas and piping them to floor drains.

• Hanging soundproofing panels over epoxy.

• Abatement of asbestos carpet and floor tiles in Room 733C, including the use of polyurethane sheeting, negative pressure containment, HEPA vacuums, certified asbestos abatement personnel, and disposal in a state-approved landfill.
