Scope of Work
The selected contractor will be responsible for:
- Procuring and delivering state-of-the-art aviation security screening equipment.
- Supplying all necessary components, shipping, and delivery to the specified international airports.
- Installation, integration (if applicable), testing, and commissioning of the equipment.
- Providing consumables, manuals, maintenance guides, and maintenance/testing kits (if applicable).
- Offering limited manufacturer equipment operation and maintenance training to local aviation staff.
Key Requirements & Deliverables
Equipment must be European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC) Common Evaluation Process (CEP) approved and/or Transportation Security Administration (TSA) equivalent. Specific equipment types include:
- Explosive Trace Detection (ETD) equipment
- Bottle Liquid Scanners (BLS)
- Advanced Imaging Technology (AIT)
- Computed Tomography (CT) X-ray Scanners Detailed technical requirements cover detection capability, performance standards, physical specifications, environmental tolerance, user interface, data handling, maintenance, and compliance.
Contractor Qualifications
Interested vendors should demonstrate:
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the delivery, installation, and commissioning of specific screening equipment.
- Past performance on at least two (2) comparable projects.
- Technical capability in logistics, assembly, installation, system integration, and post-installation support.
- Staff holding relevant manufacturer certifications and safety training.
- Eligibility for background checks and security clearances, along with necessary business licenses and current insurance coverage.
