• Qualification Article: Offerors must provide a pre-contract award qualification article for form, fit, and function evaluation. Successful qualification does not guarantee contract award.

• Estimated Qualification Cost: $122,500.

• Estimated Qualification Time: 365 days.

• Eligibility: Offerors must be fully qualified before the contract award date. Qualification approval does not guarantee an award.

• Waiver Criteria: Specific Source Qualification Waiver Criteria (QWC) are outlined, allowing for waivers of some requirements if certain conditions are met (e.g., prior supply to government, qualification of subassemblies, similar items, or previously qualified items).

• A post-contract award first article exhibit may be required to verify production capability.
