Quick Summary

The Department of the Air Force is seeking proposals for the B1710 Office Refurbish project at Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base (JRB), TX. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside solicitation for commercial construction services, estimated between $30,000 and $130,000. Award will be a Firm-Fixed-Price Purchase Order based on Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation. Proposals are due May 29, 2026, at 5 PM CDT.

Scope of Work

This project involves the refurbishment of offices within Building 1710. Key tasks include:

  • Flooring: Replacing approximately 3,500 Sq Ft of existing carpet and vinyl cove base with new commercial-grade carpet tiles (Shaw or approved equal, Style 59326 Constellat EW24, 24”x24”, color 26110 Moonlight Grade A) and gray rubber baseboard. No floating floors or existing adhesive removal required. Closet 1031 requires carpet replacement and wall painting (no cove base). Closet 1026 needs carpet replacement, cove base installation, and wall painting.
  • Painting: Painting all identified interior surfaces, including hard ceilings in corridors and specific rooms, and currently painted doors, using "Agreeable Gray" paint. Spray painting is not permitted; roller/brush application only.
  • Sheetrock & Wall Modifications: Sheetrocking, texturing, and painting a doorway opening in Room 1030 to create a full-length wall. Repairing wall damage and filling two wall cutouts in Room 1008. Removing the existing door frame and sheetrocking the area in Room 1029, painting the office side only. Metal framing is preferred for wall infills.
  • Room 1008 Specifics: Dispose of all furniture and materials, repair wall damage, and install a 12"x12" access panel for an exposed valve. This room can be used for storage after old furniture removal.
  • Furniture Handling: Contractor is responsible for moving existing furniture as needed and restoring it.
  • Demolition & Disposal: Demolish and dispose of all existing carpeting, flooring, and "red tape" items from Room 1008 at a certified landfill.
