This Statement of Work outlines the requirements for repairing district pavements, specifically along Downs St and a designated parking lot at Columbus AFB, MS.

• Mill 2 inches and overlay 2 inches of asphalt pavement.

• Perform full depth repairs in designated areas.

• Work to be performed according to Paving and Civil Works IDIQ specifications, design drawings, and related Air Force requirements.

• Contractor is responsible for providing all necessary plant, labor, equipment, transportation, and tools.

• All subbase and base course material must be compacted to a minimum of 100% density (testing required).

• New pavement surfaces must maintain positive drainage.

• A one-year warranty on materials and labor is required.

• Contractor must adhere to the CAFB Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) and implement sediment and erosion controls.

• Total Performance Period: 60 Days.

• Normal business hours are 0730-1630 Monday through Friday.

• Submittals required, including Construction Documents (CD) or CD elements, and a pavement marking layout plan.

• Superintendent must be on-site at all times when work is performed.

• Special security requirements apply to controlled areas, requiring coordination with base Security Forces and submission of worker access lists.

• Contractor must provide notice to the Contracting Officer prior to starting any work.

• All debris disposal costs are the contractor's responsibility.

• Contractor must recycle materials to the limit practicable.

• Provide adequate lighting and noise protection for work areas.

• Replace designated parking space curb signs if damaged.

• Provide new blue reflective fire hydrant markers.

• Repaint all existing markings with reflective thermoplastic pavement markings, including centerline, crosswalks, and parking space markings. Centerline markings shall be 6" wide. Handicap spaces and associated cross hatching should be blue.

• Access along Downs Street may be closed to vehicle traffic during full depth repairs, with pedestrian access maintained.
