Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

• Prep-Work: Remove and salvage (7) glass shower doors, remove 2 courses of tile from (7) walk-in showers, and demolish 1 tub-shower stall.

• Plumbing: Rough in (8) new shower drains, provide and install (8) 3x3 fiberglass shower pans, and provide and install one new shower faucet.

• Drywall: Patch 1/2 drywall walls, matching existing texture.

• Tile Works: Replace shower pans, waterproof exposed shower walls, and install tile matching existing tile (color may vary). Install shower tile substrate and waterproofing for one new shower stall.

• Shower Glass Door: Provide and install shower glass doors, including an L-shaped glass enclosure and (7) salvaged glass doors.

• Painting: Apply two coats of paint on walls and ceiling (Sherwin-Williams brand, sheen and color of choice).

• Hauling and Disposal: Removal of construction debris, with a maximum weight of 1.5 metric tons.

• Temporary Toilet: Provide a temporary toilet for workers during the project.

• Project Management: Schedule project stages, organize operations, and ensure quality and functionality.

• The estimate is dated 09/23/25 and expires on 09/30/25.

• The client is the United States Coast Guard, located at 1801 Lighthouse Pl, Santa Barbara, CA 93109.

Statement of Work (SOW)

To address progressive cracking in existing bathtubs and shower bases within Santa Barbara Coast Guard housing units due to inadequate structural support. The project aims to eliminate these deficiencies by replacing six failing tub and shower pan assemblies with standardized, durable units.

• Removal and replacement of six (6) existing bathtub and shower pan assemblies.

• Standardization of all replacement tub/pan models, surround materials, waterproofing systems, hardware, and installation methodologies across all units.

• Includes demolition of existing fixtures, surrounds, tile, backer board, and compromised materials.

• Inspection and repair of subflooring, structural elements, wall assemblies, and plumbing as needed.

• Installation of new, standardized tub/shower units in accordance with manufacturer specifications and building codes.

• Finishes and restoration to match existing conditions, ensuring units are ready for immediate use.

• All replacements must utilize the same approved tub/pan model, surround materials, waterproofing system, hardware, and installation methodology.

• Work must comply with current building codes, manufacturer requirements, and industry best practices.

• Uniform leak tests and verification of alignment, support, and finish standards across all installations.

• No leaks, cracks, deficiencies, or installation variances are acceptable.

• Location: US Coast Guard Santa Barbara Housing, 1801, 1805, 1806, 1808, 1809, 1817 Lighthouse Place, Santa Barbara, CA 93109.

• Work hours: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday (Federal Holidays excluded), unless otherwise approved.

• Site visit required prior to work.

• Submission of a standardized materials package for approval.

• Work schedule to be coordinated with the Facilities Engineer.

• Implementation of protective measures for occupied units.

• Contractor personnel require security clearance and must provide a list of all on-site personnel 5 days prior to work commencement.

• All personnel must have photo identification; proof of US citizenship or legal right to work may be required.

• 24-hour advance notice required for all deliveries.

• Vehicle registration and proof of liability insurance needed for access.

• Lock Out/Tag Out Procedures coordination required.

• An Accident Prevention/Safety Plan must be submitted prior to work commencement.

• Use of GFCIs required when using extension cords or portable generators.
