Scope of Work
The contractor will provide all supervision, labor, equipment, and materials for complete grounds maintenance. This includes:
- General Grounds: Mowing, weed eating, edge trimming, trash/debris removal, cleaning walkways/roadways.
- Irrigation: Operation, inspection, maintenance, and repairs (COR pre-approval required for all repairs; emergency repairs within 5 days). Monthly walk and quarterly valve verification are a single task, priced under CLIN 36.
- Gravesite & Headstone Services: Sunken graves/grounds repair, cleaning/trimming around headstones (~27,000 upright, ~15 flat markers), raising, realigning, setting, cleaning, and pressure washing of various cemetery structures.
- Plant Material: Maintenance of planting/mulch beds (95% weed-free performance standard, two full mulch removal/replacement events annually pre-Memorial Day and pre-Veterans Day), tree/shrub trimming. - Other: Drainage ditch maintenance, ceremony support, holiday décor upkeep. Contractor will have space for an onsite dumpster.
