Scope of Work
This project requires the replacement of chillers and associated chilled water pumps, including Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), at various BEQ buildings. Specific replacements include:
- Building HP476: One 125-ton Chiller and one Chilled Water Pump. The new chiller must be a minimum of 112 Tons, with 54°F Entering Water Temperature (EWT), 40°F Leaving Water Temperature (LWT), 192 GPM, 95°F Entering Air Temperature (EAT), and a maximum water pressure drop of 7'. It must operate on 460V/3 Phase/60Hz power with a minimum adjusted efficiency of .98KW/TN. The existing chilled water pump will be reused, tested, adjusted, balanced for 575 GPM at 107' discharge head, and its impeller trimmed.
- Building FC66-2: Six 110-ton Chillers and six Chiller Water Pumps (contractor to verify sizes).
- Building BB137: One 110-ton Chiller and one Chilled Water Pump with VFD.
- Building BB270: One 75 Ton Chiller and two Chilled Water Pumps.
- Building BB274: One 70 Ton Chiller and two Chilled Water Pumps.
- Building BB275: One 75 Ton Chiller and two Chilled Water Pumps.

Special Requirements
Contractors must provide all material, labor, equipment, and supervision. A service technician must be located within 35 miles of Camp Lejeune, NC. Compliance with the Buy America Act is mandatory. The contractor is responsible for reclaiming refrigerant from existing HVAC systems and disposing of removed chillers offsite. Scheduled outages must be coordinated 14 days in advance. All contractor employees and subcontractors must have vetted access. One individual may fulfill the roles of Superintendent, Quality Control Manager, and Safety & Health Officer if qualified.
