Scope of Work
This BPA requires the contractor to provide all necessary plant, equipment, facilities, labor, supervision, and materials for the procurement of Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) ELISA Test Kits. Key technical specifications, detailed in Attachment A, include:
- Assay Type: ELISA for detecting misfolded prion protein (PrP^res) in cervid tissues.
- Specimen Compatibility: Validated for retropharyngeal lymph nodes (RPLN) and obex tissues from white-tailed deer, mule deer, elk, and moose.
- Performance: Minimum diagnostic sensitivity ≥ 95%, specificity ≥ 98%, repeatability CV < 15%, reproducibility CV < 20%.
- Kit Components: Must include all necessary reagents for a 96-well plate, positive/negative controls, enzyme conjugate, substrate, wash buffer, stop solution, Instructions For Use (IFU), and lot-specific Certificate of Analysis (CoA).

Important Notes
The BPA itself is not a contract; an enforceable contract exists only when the Government places a BPA Call order and the Contractor accepts it. The Government is not obligated to place BPA Call orders, and the Contractor is not obligated to accept them.
