  • Base Work: Installation of approximately 1,500 lineal feet of OSP-rated single mode (OS2) loose tube fiber optic cable, running 12 strands (6 pairs) between the recreation modular building, maintenance building, and hot shot building. This involves installing exterior and interior NEMA enclosures, terminating all fiber optic strands on adapter panels with duplex LC connectors, and testing all new fiber to industry standards (IEC 61300-3-35, TIA-526-7-A, TIA-568).
  • Optional Work (Government Discretion): Installation of dedicated 15-amp electrical circuits with quadplex 20-amp, 120V receptacles near interior NEMA enclosures, and testing of existing 24-strand single mode fiber optic cable connecting the main office to the recreation modular building.

Special Considerations

Bidders must comply with the Industrial Fire Precautions Plan Guidelines for Coconino National Forest Lands, including specific measures for fire prevention, operational restrictions based on fire danger levels, and requirements for fire guards.
