Scope of Work

These slots allow anvils to be moved for use on the PSNS Forge Shop Straightening Press for straightening forged billets. The required manufacturer is GREENERD PRESS & MACHINE COMPANY, Part Number: 24T7114 - HCS-100-27L3. Unique Item Identification (IUID) is required for the bolster plate.
Contract Details
The resultant award will be a firm fixed-price supply contract utilizing commercial and simplified acquisition procedures (FAR Parts 12 and 13.5). Delivery is FOB Destination to the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, WA, required on or before July 1, 2026. Payment will be made via Wide Area WorkFlow (WAWF). Inspection is QA 4 - 7 days at the destination.
Submission & Evaluation
Offers are due by May 19, 2026, at 10:00 AM (local time). Submissions and all questions must be sent via email to vera.anderson@dla.mil. Proposals will be evaluated based on TECHNICAL, PRICE, and PERFORMANCE. Offerors must download the RFQ, monitor amendments, and submit a fully completed and signed solicitation package electronically.
Eligibility & Requirements
This is a 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside under NAICS Code 333248 (Other Industrial Machinery Manufacturing) with a size standard of 750 employees. To be considered responsive, offerors must:
- Complete the solicitation, including boxes 17A, 28, and sign boxes 30 a, b, and c.
- Provide CAGE CODE(s), company size (Small/Large), and confirm if the material is Commercial Item/COTS.
- Annotate lead time/delivery date, complete pricing for each CLIN (FOB Destination Bremerton, WA).
- Provide manufacturer name, CAGE code, country of manufacturing, part number, and specification sheets.
- Include a redacted quote and email from the manufacturer/distributor.
- Complete all representations and certifications.
- Ensure current registration in SAM.gov.
- Contractors may be required to implement NIST SP 800-171 (current assessment not more than 3 years old), unless the item is identified as Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) and information is provided to the contracting officer.
