Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To replace outdated airway visualization and intubation equipment with updated C-MAC video laryngoscopy systems to support safe and efficient airway management for Veteran patients, thereby improving visualization capabilities, enhancing procedural reliability, and ensuring compatibility with current clinical workflows.

• Procurement and delivery of C-MAC video laryngoscopy systems and related components.

• Provision of all necessary equipment, accessories, and components for full clinical functionality.

• Supply and delivery of C-MAC monitors, pocket monitors, S-Imagers, single-use laryngoscope blades, power components, connection cables, and video intubation platform carts.

• Installation and setup of equipment according to manufacturer specifications and clinical workflow requirements.

• Verification and testing to ensure proper operation and compliance with VA performance and safety standards.

• Training for clinical and biomedical engineering staff on operation, care, and maintenance.

• Warranty and Support Services (minimum 1-year).

• All equipment must be new, fully operational, and compliant with applicable regulatory and technical standards (VA, FDA, ISO, electrical safety).

• Equipment must meet manufacturer performance and technical specifications, Federal Regulations, NEC, LSC, JC, and VA Regulations.

• Warranty and Support Services required.

• On-site technical, patient care, and reprocessing training.

• Salient characteristics for each component are detailed, including resolution, water/dust-proof ratings, compatibility, and specific features.

• All equipment must be compatible and interchangeable with existing VA Karl Storz C-MAC equipment.

• System must be modular or interoperable.
