Scope of Work
The opportunity requires the manufacturing of Hull Stem Sleeves in accordance with NAVSEA Drawing 803-5959302, Item 11, and General Notes Drawing 803-5959311. The material must conform to EB Spec 3644, as modified. Key requirements include:
- Material Certification: Quantitative chemical and mechanical analysis.
- Testing: Dye Penetrant Inspection, Radiography (per T9074-AS-GIB-010/271 and MIL-STD-2035), and Non-Destructive Tests for weld repair.
- Welding/Brazing: Adherence to S9074-AR-GIB-010A/278, 0900-LP-001-7000, or S9074-AQ-GIB-010/248, with required procedure and qualification data submission.
- Configuration Control: Maintenance of total equipment baseline configuration, with specific procedures for Waivers/Deviations and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
- Mercury Free: Strict prohibition of mercury and mercury-containing compounds.
