Scope of Work
The requirement is for a Backup Stem Sleeve in accordance with NAVSEA Drawing 803-5959302, Item 12, and General Notes Drawing 803-5959311. This includes:
- Material: E.B.Spec 3644, as modified, with quantitative chemical and mechanical analysis.
- Testing & Certification: Non-Destructive Tests (Dye Penetrant Inspection, Radiography per T9074-AS-GIB-010/271 and MIL-STD-2035), welding/brazing in accordance with specified standards (S9074-AR-GIB-010A/278, 0900-LP-001-7000, S9074-AQ-GIB-010/248).
- Quality System: Must maintain a quality system in accordance with ISO-9001, ISO-10012, or ANSI-Z540.3 with ISO-17025, or MIL-I-45208. Government Quality Assurance (GQA) at source is required.
- Traceability: Strict material traceability and certification requirements for Level I/SUBSAFE systems, including unique traceability numbers and material marking.
- Waivers/Deviations/ECPs: Procedures for submitting waivers, deviations, and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) are detailed.
