This project involves the renovation of approximately 21,000 GSF of existing shell space on the first floor of Building 1002 at the VA Palo Alto Health Care System in Sunnyvale, California, for dry lab research and associated site improvements. Scope of Work
The A/E services encompass both Design Phase Services (Part One), including schematics, design development, and construction documents, and Construction Period Services (Part Two), such as responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, site visits, and preparing record drawings. The renovation focuses on creating dry lab research space, complete with utility infrastructure, surface parking improvements, site security, and compliance with VA Program Guide PG-18-15 and other VA TIL documents. Designs must be independent of future construction projects and utilize BIM/CAD standards (Revit 2019 or later).
