Technical Requirements & Documentation
Contractors must adhere to specific design, material, and dimension requirements. In case of document conflicts, the order of precedence is: Amendments, Schedule of Supplies, Terms and Conditions, Individual Repair Part Ordering Data (IRPOD) or Master Procurement Specification, Standard Technical Requirements (STRs), Drawings, and Specifications. Quality Assurance & Packaging
A contractor-maintained inspection system acceptable to the Government is required. Packaging must comply with MIL-PRF-23199, MIL-DTL-24466, MIL-STD-767, MIL-STD-2041, and MIL-STD 2073 standards, with specific clarifications regarding cleanliness controls and the use of green poly bags. Fire retardant packaging material is no longer required. The packaging label must be marked "CABLE,ELECTRICAL".
Submission Requirements
A Certificate of Compliance per DI-MISC-81356 must be submitted to NAVSUP-WSS code N9433 at the time of material delivery. A separate certificate is required for each unique combination of Contract/Purchase Order Number, National Stock Number, and Item Nomenclature.
