• Testing, Adjusting, and Balancing (TAB): Full-system TAB is required for all HVAC air and hydronic systems served by new or modified equipment, not just new equipment. This is a prerequisite for functional performance testing and commissioning.
• ICRA Requirements: Hard barriers, containment enclosures, and negative air pressure are required for Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA), as per Specification 01 35 26. The contractor must determine locations and configurations as part of the ICRA plan. Assumptions like "fire-rated plastic" are not acceptable unless specified.
• Drywall Patching: Drywall patching is required where new work cuts or penetrates walls. Finishes must match existing conditions. Firestopping is required at all penetrations of rated assemblies.
