Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products (cardboard shipping boxes) prepared in accordance with FAR Part 12. It constitutes the only solicitation, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. The acquisition is a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside.

• The solicitation is for shipping boxes, specifically "Shipper Kits" of various sizes (12"x12"x12", 16"x16"x16", and 20"x20"x20").

• Boxes must meet specific test strengths (e.g., 275 lb test, double wall) and standards (ASTM D5118, ISTA 1A).

• Boxes must be UN Rated for Packaging Groups I, II, and III.

• Assembly and closure instructions must be printed on the box.

• Material must be shipped on serviceable, winged pallets in accordance with MD00100452, Revision C.
