Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This SOW outlines the required depot-level maintenance for cleaning all ventilation ducting throughout the USCGC Forward (WMEC 270) to maintain operational readiness, ensure service life, and improve habitability.

The contractor shall furnish management, labor, materials, and equipment for ventilation cleaning in the following areas:

• Galley and Pantry Spaces
• General; All Other Spaces
• Laundry Spaces

Work includes disassembling, cleaning, and reassembling ventilation systems, using new gaskets and fasteners. Specific attention should be paid to accumulated oils and greases in the Galley and Scullery exhaust systems. Video probe equipment is required for internal inspection of ducting.

• Weekly progress reports detailing work accomplished, status of open items, problems, and planned work.

• Condition Found Reports (CFRs) for unforeseen conditions within 24 hours of discovery.

• Test and inspection reports within 24 hours of completion.

• A comprehensive final report upon completion of all contract requirements.

• Contractors must obtain all referenced documents, including controlled technical data, which may require Joint Certification Program (JCP) certification.

• Government will not furnish property; contractor must use Government-furnished information, data, and documents solely for contract performance and return them upon completion.
