Requirements & Standards

Manufacturing must strictly follow DRAWING 2295123P2 (10001) REV B. Marking requirements are specified by MIL-STD-130 (Mechanical), MIL-STD-1285 (Electrical and Electronic Parts), MIL-STD-454 (Electronic Equipment), and MIL-P-15024/5 (Electrical Equipment). Shelf life for new procurement is 20 years.

Quality & Inspection

The contractor is responsible for all inspection requirements. Government Source Inspection is required per FAR 52.246-2. Records of inspection work must be maintained for 365 calendar days after final delivery. For Ordnance Document (OD) Controlled Items, awards will only be made to vendors listed on OD36190, and substitute items require prior testing and approval by NSPCC.
