Scope of Work
The contractor will provide comprehensive support for the Flag Secretary Office and Official Functions. Key services include:
- Flag Secretary Office Support: Minor facility maintenance, submitting trouble calls to Public Works, maintaining safety requirements, custodial control of government vehicles, preparing drawings for ceremonies, expediting engraving requests, and providing setup/breakdown for official events.
- Official Functions and Events: Menu planning, budget creation, and table/seating layouts for official events. This involves pre-planning, grocery list preparation, and demonstrating food handling/preparation (contractor does not provide meals/beverages).
- Ceremonial and Reception Material Warehouse Management: Inventory, issuing/receiving, inspecting, and maintaining ceremonial and reception gear, and managing excess food service equipment.
- Laundry Services: Inventory and management of linens and tablecloths for the Flag Mess and official functions, including delivery to and from cleaning services.
Contract Details
- Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price (FFP) task order.
- Period of Performance: One base year followed by four one-year option periods, with a potential 6-month extension.
- Place of Performance: On-site at Commander Naval Air Force, U. S. Pacific Fleet, Naval Air Station North Island, CA. Work is primarily Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, but requires support beyond normal hours and on weekends for official events.
